Care Instructions
After intense practice, leave the mat unfolded to dry. It's best to wipe it with a cloth dampened with water. For stubborn stains, you can add a drop of dishwashing liquid, lemon juice, or white vinegar to the water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Tips
Prolonged, direct exposure to sunlight can accelerate the biodegradation process. The mat should be rolled with the printed side facing out. Applying greasy creams to the skin immediately before practice can cause streaks and dirt to appear on the mat. These marks should gradually fade, especially after cleaning the mat several times. However, it is recommended to avoid applying creams, lotions, and any other greasy skincare products before practice.
The intense scent of a new mat
The intense odor of a new natural rubber mat can be bothersome, but it fades over time. To speed up this process, you can keep the mat unrolled for the first few weeks in a well-ventilated place near a window, but away from direct sunlight. The strong odor is characteristic of most natural rubber products and is not related to the oxidation of chemicals, as they are not used during production.
This product contains natural, biodegradable rubber. People allergic to rubber should avoid contact with the mat.
